Twinsburg, Ohio – September 2003 – Hitachi Medical Systems America, Inc. (HMSA) announced that Central Wyoming Imaging recently purchased the Hitachi Altaire high-field performance Open MR system for the recently opened Neuroscience Center of Wyoming. The Altaire will be the first High Field Strength Open MR system in Wyoming.
“There are two closed MR systems in our area, and we chose to purchase an Open MR system to fulfill a community need that was not currently being satisfied,” commented Joseph Sramek, M.D., one of the partners of Central Wyoming Imaging.
Robert Narotzky, M.D., owner of Central Wyoming Neurosurgery and partner in Central Wyoming Imaging added, “We chose Altaire after reviewing brain and spine images from several Open MRI systems. The Altaire was the only system that provided images that met the high quality standards of our neurosurgeons and neurologists. In addition, Hitachi’s sales staff and management have provided us with excellent service.”
“The Altaire MR system was designed by Hitachi to incorporate VOSI Technology so that the subsystems, including signal-to-noise, spatial and contrast resolution, work in concert together to achieve high-field performance while maintaining cost-effectiveness,” stated Sheldon Schaffer, Vice President and General Manager of Magnetic Resonance at Hitachi.
Hitachi Medical Systems America, Inc.
