Chicago, Illinois-November 26, 2000-Hitachi Medical Systems America, Inc. and Swissray International, Inc. today introduced the ddRModulaire, a surprisingly affordable direct digital radiography system. This new system incorporates Swissray’s patented quad-CCD detector into a new positioning stand that has been value-engineered to enable a selling price below $300,000.
The compact design of this fully integrated, multi-functional digital system features fast positioning with a counter-balanced isocentric “S” arm. The ddRModulaire includes the SwissVision operator’s console with anatomy specific algorithms and automated techniques. Swissray’s unique network-friendly SizeWiseä imaging technology is a standard feature. Available options include the IGS1000 4-way floating table and OrthoVision software tools optimized to meet the special requirements of orthopedic radiology.
The ddRModulaire builds on the experience and technology that has been proven in mainstream clinical use by the ddRMulti-System and ddRCombi. It provides a complete, uncompromised system for facilities with limited space and investment capital.
